Meet Joanne, wife to Iain, mother of 2 boys - Ruaridh & Marr (see where she got the name Rumarr?!) and lover of all things unique, vibrant & quirky.

Joanne and her family moved to Islay in November 2018 and Rumarr was created the following year. It started with a rail from Amazon and £400 of wholesale Italian clothing.

In 6 years, Rumarr has gone from a pop up shop in the garage & local village halls to a permanent retail space at Islay House Square, Bridgend, Isle of Islay.

The shop now has soft furnishings, home accessories, jewellery, bags, cards, gifts and Joanne's own line of costume jewellery & poster prints - JH BOLD & Beautiful.
